La casa nel cortile is a beautiful renovated holiday home in Balestrate's countryside. The house has a spacious porch with a large table and several chairs, were you can dine while enjoying the lovely Sicilian weather.
The living area has a fireplace and the kitchen is built in stone and contains a large dining table. Trough the small hallway you can reach the bathroom, which is fitted with shower, toilet and bidet. Opposing the bathroom there's a room with a single bed. This room can be used when you want to rent the holiday home for five people.
Via the stairs you can reach the loft where you will find two bedrooms, each one of them with a double bed and air- conditioning. There's also a second bathroom with toilet and bidet.
In front of the holiday home you'll find a courtyard of an old baglio (a baglio is a typical Sicilian construction built in a square shape with one entrance gate). There's enough space to park your (rental) car.
By car, you'll reach Balestrate's center or the sandy beaches within 4 minutes. The highway (A29) can be reached within three minutes, making La casa nel cortile the ideal starting point for various daytrips in the area!
